Shall we revive this blog? One person thinks we should. The problem is the commenting format, which I think should be in a real-time way. What do you think? Anyone??
Well I'm in. But a group of two readers is only technically a group. FB does seem ideal for more or less real-time discussions. I am currently boycotting FB but I do have a dummy account that I could use. I quit FB every 6 months or so, whenever it annoys me, and it annoys me a lot. The whole Big Brother thing is my objection. I don't like their tendency to tell all my so-called friends what news stories I'm reading for example. And I don't like being told who I might want to befriend. Bah humbug, I say.
Yes,let's revive this. I wouldn't mind reading 'Stoner' by John Williams. Anyone interested? As far as commenting, we could set a mutually agreed date on which we could go online to make comments, to make it more real time?
We hope you enjoy browsing here. For those who are visiting for the first time...just scroll down the side bar to see which books we are reading in which month. The 'contributors' will post their thoughts during the last weekend of the month- and please feel welcome to leave your own comments at the end of each 'post'.
Working List of Books We will vote on- contributors add your suggestions here...
The Shadow of the Wind- Carlos Ruiz Zafon

The Celebrated cases of Judge Dee- Robert Van Gulik
